A calcination furnace is a high-temperature calcination treatment equipment that mainly uses gas, oil, electricity, and other energy sources. The heating methods can be divided into two categories: direct heating and indirect heating. According to the different heating media used, calcination furnaces can be divided into three types: gas calcination furnaces, oil fired calcination furnaces, and electric heating calcination furnaces. Calcination furnaces can be used for ironmaking, recovering rare metals, catalysts, molecular sieves, improving the environment, or producing specialty chemical products.

The gas (oil) type calcination furnace consists of the main body of the calcination furnace, combustion device, ventilation and smoke exhaust device, and automatic control system.

The electric heating calcination furnace consists of a calcination furnace body, an electric heating device, and an automatic control system.

The main body of the calcination furnace consists of a rotary drum, a feed screw, a discharge box, a supporting device for the support wheel, a sealing system for the inlet and outlet ends, and a transmission system.
